Along with Tiripano, Chinouya is injured too ! Any idea will he be deemed fit before WC ?

I was thinking taking into account the selection trends of Zim for all these years, there's a massive chance of the following squad or a squad very similar to the following being selected for the WC. That will be the worst possible outcome for me & a complete horror. I'll be so much frustrated, disappointed & gutted.

Possible Squad Selected by Zim (My Guess):

1. Sikander Raza
2. Hamilton Masakadza
3. Sean Williams
4. Brendan Taylor
5. Solomon Mire
6. Elton Chigumbura (C)
7. Regis Chakabva (WK)
8. Prosper Utseya
9. Tinashe Panyangara
10. Tendai Chatara
11. Nevile Madziva

Reserves:
12. Tafadzwa Kamungozi
13. Vusimuzi Sibanda
14. Stuart Matsikenyeri
15. Timycen Maruma/Brian Vitori

Is there anyone who wants to place a bet that it will be exactly the same squad that will finally get selected ? It must be a nightmare I had !
You have one player wrong, ZC will somehow manage to not select Hammy. Amazing that he has never played in a world cup.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Hamilton Masakadza has never played in a WC & no offense to Stuart Matsikenyeri, if he gets selected then it will be his 3rd WC ! Shocking !

Funny how now we have Waller (snr) bounced from National coach yet still being paid-Now Mangongo bounced, still being paid and now they(ZC) want to spend more money on another full time International coach.
So we will be paying 3 coaches an international wage YET players and admin staff were paid 2weeks late for November and no one has been paid for December yet- which normally is paid before Xmas.
Why is there a fantasy rumour that The Admin have changed? They have remained the same- in fact gotten even fatter as Nesta and Bvute are back taking wages/consultant fees. The only people who seem to have lost their jobs over the "restructuring" is the extremely successful Mountaineers (Brents-best season ever in franchise history and they don't get contracts renewed, tough being white!) to make way for the Makonis and Dubes from the franchise closing. The big dogs have gotten bigger whilst they have cut players wages so the big dogs can still remain in the lap of luxury they have become accustomed too- and bugger cricket.
These dinosaurs must be chased out of ZC- Mukondiwa and Lupepe, mismanagers. Makoni and of course Wilson Manase a well educated respected lawyer allowing fraud deceit and daylight robbery to continue.
Perhaps our wages were used to buy back the seized ZC vehicles.
As ICC has defunct the ACA and taken over- please may they defunk the ZC and take over the admin of the game from Dubai- as cricketers we'll play.

Indian left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha banned from bowling.

No wonder Utseya's turned to "mystery" spin.
I'm actually very excited to see how Utseya bowls. ;)
In fact, Utseya is convinced off-spin can't be bowled without flexing the elbow.

He expressed his gratitude to his employers Zimbabwe Cricket for the support that they have offered during the two months.

“ZC have been really supportive, they got me to go to South Africa where I worked on my bowling action and to India for the retest, I am really humbled by their kind gesture,’’ Utseya said.
LMAO i'm sure Prosper is really humbled by ZC's gesture- got a trip to Wales, few weeks in SA and a trip to India. He must be so grateful he has been on ZC's payroll sabotaging his mates in the union and coercing them to stop striking. Nice one prosper, no doubt you'll be an automatic selection for WC- you'll be the guy sitting alone with the team, minus your integrity, pride and loyalty. Have a nice trip and Merry Xmas.
P.S. i doubt you'll be on the Players Union board anymore- in fact i can guarantee it.

In two months Pro has learned how to bowl like Narine? Well then he can look forward to a $1.5 million IPL contract and can fill the boots of the best T20 bowler the planet has ever seen. If we send him to a batting academy for another month he can be the next Maxwell.

Lets all just chill here. Hats off to the bloke for pulling out all the stocks in order to get to the world cup, but at the same time it does sound like it's more of a wing and a prayer jobby

On the other hand, big news Saeed Ajmal has withdrawn himself from the WC 2015.

A query to everyone, is Robin Brown available to do a coaching job for Zim ? Paul Strang I guess signed up with PNG as coach.

he's a good coach, but would be viewed in the same light as Bundu ie a Rhodesian MDC convert. He's a great coach actually, but needs to take a happy tablet.

I have personally spoken to Robin Brown, face to face, two summers ago when the Kenyan team came over here. They were using the local leagues as warm ups before they headed to Scotland for the T20 qualifiers.

We had a serious chat about ZC, its deficiencies and it's positives, but Robin could not emphasize more that he will not take up a coaching role with Zimbabwem purely on the basis that there is no racial equality within the system. He himself has said that Bvute is like a cancer, and his presence will only secure an even quicker rot within the core of ZC.

Brown won't take up the job, nor will Zimbabwe ask him. He left on bad terms apparently in 2008 when he was sacked, and even then when he came back and coached it was because he was going to be closely affiliated with some of the exciting youngsters that were coming through. And back then don't forget, we had sponsership, we had Streak and Flower on Board, hell we even had a half decent side. If he wasn't interested then, he won' be interested now.

He singled out a lot of players as well. Utsea being the one I remember very clearly because of the fact that, apparently, he was very hard to talk to. On the interviews of Utsea that I have had the displeasure of seeing, i can understand where Robin was coming from when he said he was an arrogant, lazy snitch. He singled out a lot of the players that Jimmy and Googly have mentioned in previous posts, which lends some authenticity to what you chaps are saying.

I've just read that Dav Watmore will now coach the side at the WC ?!
