Bowling first. I would have thought this match was crying out for Mupariwa.
Regis for Chamu? Must be due to an injury? Otherwise it doesn't make any sense at all.

Re: [Match Thread] UAE v Zimbabwe (World Cup Pool B)
Am I the only one who is confused how the eligibility rules/residency period works: How can can someone make their official ODI debut for the UAE last year (Oct. 2014) when he's played FC cricket in his native country less than 3 1/2 years earlier (May 2011) -- I thought it was four years?

Chakbva is a great test batsman and proved his mettle in Bangladesh but let's be clear a man with no ODI 50's shouldn't be displacing chibhaba

Can't believe I woke up at 3:30 am for this madness. A dropped sitter and a wicket of a no ball within 4 overs.

Is it too early to use the line, "It was good whilst it lasted" ?
Re: [Match Thread] UAE v Zimbabwe (World Cup Pool B)
UAE pushing along nicely in these early overs. You would think that after all these years bowlers would learn to keep their foot behind the line.
