The big thing with little foot movement is you have to play even later which is very hard to do. He gets stuck and pushes at it. Also it tends to square you up a bit, which brings another set of problems. It's why he likes to close his bat on it and go onside.
He looks at his best when he's actually walking at the guy, which proves my point.
