Re: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan (1st ODI)
And now off for rain. Probably the ideal result is we lose about 10 overs and have to chase another 60 runs or so.

That would make 60 off 13 overs at 4.8 rpo roughly. The current rrr is 5.16.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:And now off for rain. Probably the ideal result is we lose about 10 overs and have to chase another 60 runs or so.
So from 40 overs, you'd probably need another 85 or so based on DL.

That's if it stops raining. Match situation awareness lacks in the Zim team. They should have delayed the a bit such that over which took Burl wicket will not be bowled. Poor Zim, we probabily lose the match we should have comfortablyKriterion_BD wrote:That would make 60 off 13 overs at 4.8 rpo roughly. wow.tough luck on Burl possibly costung us the game on debut.hope it doesn't ruin his confidence going forward.

It was a good delivery, not like he was out slogging to midwicket. Just a good bit of bowling, no shame in that.TapsC wrote:wow.tough luck on Burl possibly costung us the game on debut.hope it doesn't ruin his confidence going forward.

Seems it has stopped raining. I would help them with the statistics if I was at the ground.TapsC wrote:wow.tough luck on Burl possibly costung us the game on debut.hope it doesn't ruin his confidence going forward.

If they do restart this break may help us with Duckworth Lewis.etoreveyi wrote:Seems it has stopped raining. I would help them with the statistics if I was at the ground.TapsC wrote:wow.tough luck on Burl possibly costung us the game on debut.hope it doesn't ruin his confidence going forward.
I reckon there is another hour of light left after the restart. So 15 overs? perhaps a target of 80?
Re: Zimbabwe vs Afghanistan (1st ODI)
I'm not disputing the delivery, All i'm saying is game management likke in soccer if you leading 1-0 with a couple of minutes to go. With rain around the corner one should access the sitution. Maybe 12th man runs in with water or something.zimfan1 wrote:It was a good delivery, not like he was out slogging to midwicket.
