Cutoff time is about 5.20-ish local time I think
Icc.tv still have the stream up. Looks slightly brighter but rains still clearly coming down and the ground will be wet.

Don't think it will start Tej, if you are watching in Fancode they always give live pictures and it looks like it is still raining. Terrible way to lose this game. Genuinely felt Zimbabwe could have still chased this down because Raza and Burl were looking really good out there.
Only positive thing I see is that the forecast for the remaining two games looks good.

Chatara isn't exactly a wicket taker too... But if he has to be back then Nyauchi goes out. Blessing and Ngarava are the two wicket taking bowlers along with Sikki and Burl. Wellington is more of a defensive bowler who gets wickets in T20s because batters go after him, in ODIs he becomes largely ineffective.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 2:13 pmI think we need Larry back in the side so it's either Ngarava, Nyauchi or Evans to make way. I don't really mind which, but Ngarava bowled really nicely and Nyauchi is useful for the first hour of swing. Shame we can't name the team after the toss! Bowling first, I'd have Nyauchi over Evans. But bowling second I'd go the other way around.sam_ahm wrote: ↑Wed Jan 18, 2023 2:07 pmI'll be disappointed if Zim lose this, with Madande and Evans still to come I think Zimbabwe had the upper hand.
SZ we can't drop Evans, his batting lower down the order is heavily underestimated and it is very much needed for Zimbabwe. In addition to that he bowled well today.
Evans didn't look like taking a wicket again today. Neither did Wellington. I think Chats and Mavuta gives us a bit more potency. We really miss Blessing though.

Bigger covers coming off. Will be a massive effort to get things dried in time for the cutoff though. Still looks doubtful

Well, looks like it has stopped raining because the covers are coming off. I don't know how good it drains here, let's hope for the best.

Even stevens seems to me. An odd sort of match so far in that ZIM bowled both well to restrict them to under 300 on a really flat track but also looked toothless for large parts of the innings. Similarly the Raza Burl partnership makes the batting loo good but losing the first 4 wickets for 90 odd does not.
ZIM really have become accustomed to losing early wickets in a big chase only to somehow chase it down.
What’s the DL par score here?

Hate this about cricket .they take so much time to get the ground ready by the time it is done it gets dark again
