Maybe because of our good start this is a 330 total instead of a 430 total

340
Speaks to the quality of the SA team that after we get out all their big guns, the lower middle order comes out and slogs us into submission.
I guess what's in our favour is that it's a small ground. So even 340 is not impossible. Presuming we don't lose wickets at regular intervals, it might be worth promoting one of Mire or Chigumbura around the 20-25 over mark to just tee-off.

Reckon we can get close if we get off to a good start, worth getting Mire up to 3?

I have always said that against pace he is a very capable player, its just against spin where he goes to bits.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:Welcome back to international cricket Chamu

Bit of a wild swing from Raza there. To be honest, it's probably better that he knuckles down a bit and makes even a slowish 30 off 45 rather than hole out for 5. In answer to the question above; yeah I'd definitely promote Mire or Chigumbura at some point. Maybe around the 20 over mark so that we don't lose any momentum in the middle overs.
