Tino is a big fan of Wes’, he’s pumped him up for years.
“Selectors” will look at the scorecard and he’s penned in for the next 20 games.

That length u can’t come down to, can’t really safely sweep, can’t quite pull is deadly.
Back foot punch for one is the only safe shot.
Some guys play it well by getting down on one knee really early and then set up for a pull sweep or a pick up sweep over 45.
Maybe u can run down once or twice if u leave late. It’s vexing.

Wes’ is batting himself to the worst 50 in the history of T20.

43 off 39 is really terrible, but it will probably be considered a fantastic innings by Wes and the selectors and the coaches and our entire setup and most of the fans in the ground.

They’ve got a couple of days to learn a couple of shots to deal with Bishnoi.
95-100kph off cutters, just back of a length. It’s also where height is an advantage as a batsman. U can stand and deliver a few, but if you’re shorter it makes it really difficult. You have to play square.
One would like to think the curator and groundsman will be politely asked why they prepared a batting track

It’s the same as Jongwe’s innings. No pressure and hasn’t batted that well, but he’s in for a while after that, despite a terrible spell with the ball.

Don’t change a winning side as they say.

Kaia was unlucky with a big inside edge which could have easily have gone to the boundary

Campbell was sold down the river

Bowlers performed out of their skin
U still want Kaia after these 2 games

Kaia will be in and out for many years to come. Every time a least favorite fails he’ll get games to remind folk they’re guests in this game they’ve taken to new lows.

Harsh. Kaia isn’t a terrible player. He’s decent, albeit this obviously isn’t his best format and he’s been poor recently.

I’d have him in my Test XI in Ireland opening with Gumbie

Campbell looked a bit out of his depth today which is concerning. I hope he is given the five games to test him out. Gut feel is that Myers has enough nouce to work it out.

Jongwe is not adding anything to the side as a bowler or a batter, nor is Wellington due to the amount of bowling options in the top 6. Would try and squeeze another batter in there.

Will be interesting to see if they move Bennett up to open or bring in Marumani. Have been surprised by the same if sizes of Bennett's sixes. Even though he is tall he is not a big guy but has hit 13 sixes in 12 games.
