My hope for this tour is that Marumani experiences some different conditions and bowlers, to better his development.
No point whacking the same bowlers here season after season.

That's an expensive way of doing it
He could have just gone for a club season to a prem club, if he was picked, and discovered for himself that the bowlers don't serve up hit me balls too often.
Cephas Zhuwayo bosses club cricket over there, but it's not Prem I don't think. They don't bowl too many loose ones. ZC are into making losses more palatable and giving Bully a call is an option
Another good player that would have been an excellent player if he'd been given early opportunities and good coaching.

The bowlers can learn to bowl tighter. The batters won't take much from it because most will only get to face 10 balls a week.
Madhevere should learn and adapt, he's got real ability. Hopefully Maru does as well, he's got great hand eye, just needs to defend well and pick his shots.

I think we'll face weaker and weaker teams and then ZC will spin it that the players have improved.
I hope the lads are getting their daily allowances

I see Muyeye is in The 100. One unbelievable world class shot and out. There are many players there with hugely better stats watching from the sidelines wondering at the injustice of it all.
He does have the potential to have a big career though, if he gets it right. He'll have more opportunities than anyone has ever had, that's a given. He just needs about 3 good innings in a row and he's captaining England.
The headlines will be acutely embarrassing-
Wunderkid escaping death threats in Zimbabwe by the skin of his teeth, smuggled out in a donkey skin and then rowed the Channel in a tractor tube to follow his dream  The funny part will be if The Sun phones ZC for a comment.
He's really grown and filled out in the last few months. He's got a dazzling array of shots, just not reliable enough, but I think that will come.

Jonty Jenner is an absolute gun fielder. He went the jersey route because there was no interest from counties, which is insane.
We have had Jonty as an overseas player at my club in Australia for 3 seasons in total. Great young man , very talented batsman and as you say a gun fieldsman.

I know him personally. It's a travesty that he has been overlooked by Counties. The English system is downright nasty. Its almost like he was blacklisted. He has the skills to walk into most teams. He is an amazing fielder, like his namesake.

I bit better with the bat today but 3 guys throwing away starts.

No idea why Rodney is so highly thought of by ZC.

It's either Mangongo or Chigumbura that keep punting him. I dunno if there's a family tie or if one of them has spent a week with him and want to take ownership. He's not in the same ballpark as a number of players that have been left behind.
Huge wasted opportunity for the better guys left behind to wait yet another year and pray for a break and pray harder they take advantage of it.
There's no remorse when they eat up years of players' careers. Fortunately mealie meal is subsidised so you can survive on sadza and road kill for decades. You have to be a different bloke to pick a favorite not going places and shit on someone's career with potential. For shame, for shame!!
Let them eat sadza whilst we sip on Green Label and Fanta.

Theyve shook hands on a draw - it’s raining down there today.

That's how it starts, like CNN. They know he's a Chosen One and are bigging him up from the get go.
