On one side that could sound like an excuse...but looking at how he is "hiding" Shafiul Islam and Nazmul Hossain the stars of the first innings that could be true, or alternatively, Shakib has resigned to losing the match and hence, why expose the two bowlers, either way, Warwolf could be onto something Shakib is not using all his options...

I am really not worried about winning or losing the match. What makes me worried is the way the captain thinks. He somehow failed to understand the meaning of the practice match!

He need not is Hami can be convinced to open (which he has been doing with Mawoyo up there, except the very first innings against the Aussies when he and Vusi put on 100+)...so it would be...

....but its interesting we are happy with just one good innings from Foster and Craig, but insist others have to "prove" themselves (not complaining ...just noting!)

Forster is someone who has been unlucky not to get a run in the national set up recently, especially given our mediocre middle order. Forster is a bright, raw, talent. Like a young Matsi.

I agree to your team selection. Only 1 change I suggest, Taylor should open with Sibanda. As, Mazakadza has already settled for No 3 spot, no need to disturb him and Taylor loves to open as we all know .

And, as these guys have performed under immense pressure, and have almost played match winning innings, they can be given the test spot. Well done Mutizwa and Ervine.

Quite interesting as i follow the practice match.

Ervine seems to have got the form back which Campbell was concerned of. On a side note, Mutizwa is likely to carry Zim home.

However, as i am just checking CI for updates...looks like Shakib intended to get back the spinners to get some exposure when the game was going out of hand. Might be a good move IMO.

Razzak...is a good bowler but his lack of expertise in longer version of the game worries our fans. I believe Shakib and Law would think over this issue before thursday.

We will have a likely change in our lineup...that is the indication from the performance of this 3-day game.
