the boys are doing great they don't need to do anything crazy they're scoring quick enough they just need to take the game as deep as they can and who knows what will happen .....

Yeah, it's also important we take it deep due to NRR. We were never expected to notch this one up as a win, so as long as we escape without affecting our NRR too much we can take a lot out of this performance.

The clouds look very ominous + a little bit of drizzle now. A rain delay would probably help as a bit at the moment actually, given we have wickets in hand.

its starting to rain !!!! the fact we have only dropped 1 wicket means a rain effected match could work in our favour ......

Both guys stepping back to the spinner - which is fine if you're playing through the offside but I worry when I see our guys try and work it to the leg side for a single. It's only a matter of time until they are trapped lbw.

Yeah, I reckon he should be the one taking the attack to the bowlers (rather than Masakadza). Not sure how long he's going to last against Tahir; whereas Masakadza/Taylor/Williams are better equipped to handle the spinners.

Hayden's got no idea. Pollock asked him the ICC poll question (Who will be Zim's best batsmen in the tournament - Chigumbura, Masakadza or Taylor) - and he deflected by saying "well it definitely won't be the weather" :?

As a commentator, it's his job to learn a bit about the players he's going to be analysing. I guess you could let it slide if he didn't know anything about, to steal ZIMDOGGY's phrase, whichever part time taxi drivers are playing for UAE that day  But most of this Zim team have been on the circuit for a decade or more. They played Australia just a few months ago. Hayden should have done his homework.

:6: to Masakadza off Steyn to bring up his 50!

Good innings by Chibhabha.
Now would be a good time to promote Mire, to accelerate the run rate. But a Taylor special would be good too.
