I've never got the rave about Parnell. 2009? Yea, he bowled rockets and swung the ball late. But then Gary Kirsten fucked with his action and he lost all swing and pace

Ya I do agree that Parnell is past it, I was just curious to know if it is injury or something that is still keeping him out or is he genuinely overlooked.

The emergence of younger bowlers like Jansen, Coetzee, Burger has definitely put him down the order and now even Phelukwayo is doing reasonably well. Parnell never really became the batter he could, his bowling was fine but I thought his batting never really developed or helped him become a genuine all rounder.

He promised much early in his career, with bat and ball.
Still a decent player. He's not the nicest bloke, as Sloandog says. Arrogant guy. A lot of these South Africans look down on us, makes many of us defensive before you even start.
Theyre busy counting votes in their election. Word is that ANC will lose their majority, but I doubt that. ANC and Zanu know how to win elections. DA are also corrupt, thsyre all tainted. If they do lose there are going to be some interesting coalitions. The corruption and murder rates in SA are world class. As long as Malema doesn't have too much say. It's a weird time when you start agreeing with some of the shit that he spouts though

Ya he flew off the radar and has picked up blast gigs for goodness knows how long now. Shocked how young he is to be honest, seems he’s been around forever.

Malema  he’s a dodgy guy, talks some sense though.

I'd have loved to see CSA give Faf a chance in this WC. He has often expressed his desire to win the WC for RSA and if you look at their team, I'd say he could have sneaked in ahead of Rassie, Reeza or may be even De Kock who is in terrible form these days.

I always thought Hashim, Faf and AB deserved to win at least one ICC title... They were too good to not be having an ICC trophy to show, but unfortunately that's how their careers have ended.

Ya. It’s criminal SA have never won anything, they’ve had some amazing players and some amazing sides but it’s just never happened for them. Faf and AB had one last rodeo in them I’d think. That’s cricket for you though hey?

SA have a new look squad. Seen them all before but not in the same team all at once.

Hugely impressed with Seales. WI do have a decent team, I think they will do well if the players stick around and don't lose their minds over T20 deals.
