That's an interesting scorecard. That was pretty much the last over of spin. I think Bones had one more and then we were basically fucked.

What's the situation with Bawa. I have never seen a young zimbabwe batsman come in like that and dominate who hasn't even played domestic List A cricket.

He didn't do much at school there. Had a good first u19 tour, then didn't do much on the next and then had a mediocre time of it last two years. We thought he'd make plenty runs, but he didn't.
It's a confusing game, doesn't go to script much of the time. Not sure how he's done at Uni cricket, but I think that's been fairly average as well.

Musekiwa looked good today. Batted exceptionally well. Joint man of match with Mavuta I reckon. However mavuta will get plaudits and rightly so

We needed that really badly. You have to fight every ball and never give up. I think a little mental lesson was learned there against a better team.
They had an excellent bowling unit. Very few loose deliveries throughout this last month. I'd like to have seen them bowl second, they had a lot of help from the pitch, but they look a really professional outfit, very well coached.
I'll put money that's not their top picks, but nonetheless they've got bowlers there with a bright future.
