One thing I'm picking up on from the games today is just how far ahead the other nations area at their fielding. They are so athletic and agile. Our guys look lethargic and slow. Reggie would not be able to back up the way Butler did tonight. I think it showed as well in how we responded when the ball went up and we couldn't get to the ball or under it. We have an opportunity with the young guys coming through to work on it.
Fielding used to be probably our best assets, and I hope we can get back to that.

England have been freaky good today. Everything`s been sticking. NZ and Aus didnt look that special though. You should have watched the kiwi tri series too. Horrible fielding all round. Anyway my main point is, you`re being way too harsh. England have just been godly todayzimbos_05 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 12:35 pmOne thing I'm picking up on from the games today is just how far ahead the other nations area at their fielding. Teams that come up have amazing fielding capacities ..Namibia in their first game against srilanka were out of the world and so was Scotland against westindies. Those two teams are damn unlucky to miss out

I think considering we've dropped 3 catches at minimum (1 being very easy) and had 4 misfields that led to 2 runs or more is not being harsh, but just making a note on something we can improve on.

Sri Lanka seem to have found their grove now, handling Ireland with ease so far.
