I really hope it's Ireland and Zimbabwe who go through, or Scotland and Zimbabwe, and not the West Indies/Afghanistan. I mean mathematically it may not be possible, but it would really stick a didget up the ass of the ICC.
Mathematically it's very much possible. Even if the Windies win tomorrow they are not safe.

Oh, and now that I notice it, well done sloandog for moving past 6000 posts at some stage during the last few days or so :)

Afghanistan's campaign could be over after this game. I don't know why, but I've been a die hard AFG supporter since 2009 but for some reason I don't really care much if they miss out on this WC - which they are 90% likely to do at this stage. Even winning all their games may not be enough.

Btw, who are the posting leaders at ZCF? I'm guessing eugene, sloandog, and jaybro with gold, silver, and bronze so far...

I’m assuming we would prefer an Afg victory today? Just considering all things.

Definitely. A bit risky for us but it will keep them motivated to perform. Although we would still need to win 2 games if Afghanistan won all 3 because of that draw. It's all about them not dropping their heads.

I believe CrimsonAvenger is top with 7500+, posts, brmtaylor.com and Jemisi (in his second incarnation) are neck and neck at 6660, eugene and sloandog make up the top five with jaybro close behind.
