How many DRS calls have been reversed in ZIM's favor so far? Chari got 2 so far, right?

Yes, 2 for him and one for Ervine that he did not capitalize on. Also, we got 2 wickets when we bowled by reviewing. In addition, the umpires are probably less biased and are a little aware to the situation now that the DRS is available. As Jemisi said, we got LBWs going for us when we bowled, which would not even have been considered in absence of DRS. So, just the presence of DRS has helped Zim a lot. Which just goes to show how biased umpiring is against weaker teams. We have suffered enormously especially in the last couple of years.

Chari gone for 80.
Good innings, but what I saw wasn't overly convincing. Some pretty ordinary misses when on the back foot, etc. Looks very susceptible to LBW playing that way.
What is the consensus here? Done enough to retain his spot for whenever the next Test is? I'm not really convinced yet.

Argh, 20 short of this bold prediction then.CrimsonAvenger wrote:I'm going to stick my neck out and say that the-under-fire Chari will bring all his nervous energy together to get to a hundred if he is chosen to play in this test. Or at least that's what I want to see.

Chari's struggles this morning are over, he just never looked comfortable and was lucky to survive this long. I'm still not convinced, but well played, he got 80 valuable runs.
Let's see if Waller can somehow justify his inclusion in this team. He's never been a Test player imo.

Unlucky for Chari, was hoping he would make a ton. He's done well under pressure even though it has been a bit scratchy. Williams, Moor, Waller and Sir Graeme must take us from here

Lucky let off for Waller then.
He'd be pretty keen to make a decent score here. With Chari making some runs, MW's position is pretty tenuous.
It's funny, MW seems to rack up the runs at FC level to the point where big hundreds and double hundreds are pretty regular. But at Test level, besides his very first match, I can't think of a single innings of note.
Meanwhile, as all this is going on Williams moves to 28.

Middle order getting starts and losing wickets regularly. What's new? We are inching closer towards a Zim Collapse now I feel.

I think Waller's Test career might be cooked now. Seems to be a pretty great T20 slogger, and seems to be really good at FC level but for whatever reason it just isn't translating into Test match success.

I still haven't quite understood why we chose to bowl first.
