I still think Bangladesh are the favourites for this match. They have been playing to a higher level recently and are more experienced. We haven't played a test in years. That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if Zimbabwe won.

I would think any result in this test other than a win for Bangladesh would be considered a disappointment for Bangladesh?

Not really...we are expecting a draw as well.

Considering we are returning after a long time to the longer format...that would also be fine.
mate i sense your scared and worried, all the pressure is on bangladesh we ahvent played a test in 6 years while you guys have been playing england and competing not to mention beating new zealand 5-0 in a odi series, if you get a draw out of this it is a loss for you and a major achievement for us not to mention waht a win would do. it all started when ur foool of a captain said we are favourites yes you might be but now you have lost the warm up with nearly a full team and pressure is on you to perform. all we have to do is be as a competive as we can be, i would settle for a draw because you guys have had so much more experience than us. dont try and cover ur fears buddy because zim is comiing for your mob

@Andybligz93 :-

Lol mate...i like your confidence!

Having said that, i shall again clarify that our minimum expectation is not lower then a draw. Hence you saying we are scared and tensed and what not, does not really change this fact.

We have been in ODI mode for the past 14 months...additionally our players have played IPL, County and did well.

Look at India's current test results, two massive defeats. Why? Because BCCI's desire for more IPL and money. India did not play test for quite sometime and its still hard for them to cope up. But when we were in England, Tamim hit consecutive centuries, batting was good. Does that make us superior to India? No.

So mate, before you jump to conclusion...have patience and think about what is going on around. And finally, it should be an interesting contest. Will be worth watching.

Is Mutizwa MDC or something? Does he have some connections that the board deem unsavoury?
