Travelling is never easy...just ask the Aussies from 100+ - 2 to 136-7....doesnt excuse our shoddy showing but context helps travelling is never easy.

....but then if your tail can add on a hundred.....

One thing about this Zim outfit is that they never do justice to their true talent, especially when they travel, its like a mental thing. You can see glimpses of brilliance at some points and thats it. I hope they bat well today to take it to day 4.

Old school declaration at overnight score. Will this match go to day 4?

Lets try to look at the positives from the test matches...

1. Sammy has proved how important he is to the team, silencing the critics for the umpteenth time.
2. Ramdin has resurrected his career with gritty knocks.
3. Chanderpaul has finally got a hundred against Zimbabwe.
4. Shillingford has proved his worth as a spinner and deserves more matches.

Oh wait, this is not WICF...

We could still force a positive result from this match. Sure the chances are about a million-to-one, but it's only a day three pitch, there's still runs to be made. If we bat well into day four, put on about 350-400 giving WI about 150-200 to chase... it's something for the bowlers to defend. Who knows.

But more realistically, just batting through the day would be an achievement. There's a good chance this will be done and dusted by tea, an innings loss :(

Unfortunately, there seems to be some wild optimism in this post... :(

A clean 7-0 sweep for WI on the cards. To be honest, that's what I predicted would happen all along, but that doesn't make it any less upsetting...

Hami opening with Vusi. What's up with Mawoyo?
Peterhouse U14C 4th change bowler and no. 10 batsman (but only because Aaron didn't have a bat).

Yeah... I was hoping for a test match draw at most, not to be it seems.

Why is Mawoyo not opening?

Was off the field for a long time yesterday, so probably can't bat for a certain amount of time.
