Reading on Twitter (ah! Man I mean X) that Namibia is touring Zimbabwe from 22nd to 30th October.

Can anyone else confirm?
5 T20Is.
Great! Will be good preparation for both teams.

Anyone with an update on this? Nothing from any official outlets on any Namibia games. I thought Nepal was lined up for a T20 series as well at some point this year?

Ireland series apparently is confirmed for December 2023. 3 ODIs and 3 T20s. Reading this on Twitter.

Did we have any tests planned originally?

Feels like a potentially competitive test match against Ireland will never happen.

Yes, but we've got some cricket. Namibia series, followed by the Qualifier, followed by Ireland series, then an away tour of SL in Jan.

... And if Afghanistan ever play, then there is a series scheduled against them in Feb, but as usual, this won't happen.

T20 WC Africa Qualifiers format is a proper round robin where everyone plays everyone, and the top 2 make it to the World Cup. Perfect format for Zimbabwe to go through, no sudden death scenario.

I was a bit concerned because for Asia Qualifiers which are going on right now, they have created 2 groups and Semi Finals are sudden death.

Sri Lanka who are currently suspended by the ICC had their next series planned in January against Zimbabwe. Wonder if this suspension will have an impact on the Zimbabwe series?

As far as I know the team can continue to play bilaterals but not ICC events, remember Zimbabwe did play Singapore while being suspended. So interesting to see what happens here. It's an away tour so the schedule has to come from SLC which atm is suspended.

SRI lanka will appeal that suspension. The country's president is leading the charge so theyre kinda missing the point about government interference. Most governments are neck deep involved in their cricket boards so it's a joke.
I would think they could do some superficial housekeeping to satisfy the corrupt ICC that theyve gotten their house in order. Who could they turn to for advice?
Hopefully theyll have some dirt on the plethora of corrupt ICC officials to fast track their appeal.

If they're going to host whilst theyre suspended there will be a queue of lesser sides and associates more than willing, provided they don't annoy ICC.
