Streak is guilty as sin, but for the crimes he committed, not match fixing or spot fixing.
The problem is he’s opened the door for all his enemies to lay the boot in and there are so many especially in media so he’s fucked. In Zimbabwe he will always been seen as pariah now.
He definitely needs to do a tell all interview and tell his side, it won’t change what he’s done but it will at least help us understand how he got into this mess.
All in all it’s a very sad state of affairs, there are no winners even though some of these grubs think they’ve won

There's still some extra variables.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 6:26 am
I will attempt to answer this because I recognise this as something I would do.
I cousi be wrong, but I think this is what happened.
Streak was offered the money to give the numbers.
He probably thought ‘it’s only their phone number, and
the boys are good kids and won’t get involved in it and will tell them to f off, so it’s easy money’.
So Streak gets the cash and genuinely could have wanted to protect cremer at the same time.
Why tell Cremer to report it, thus report him too? Why take the risk of giving the numbers hoping the players don't take it?
I'm not trying to defend Streak here as completely innocent, just sort of questioning a couple of things that don't exactly add up.

This is never how a board should respond. This is the problem. Mukhulani and his cronies are all about themselves, not the best interests of the game. Even with all the things that happened to Smith, Warner, and Bancroft, CA reprimanded those players in a diligent and professional manner. They then helped them to get back on their feet.
Not in Zim. We draw knives on each other and laugh as our fellow countrymen suffer, as long as we don't.

Yes goes on to show how much mukhlani and his cronies were waiting for something like this ..mehluli is thumping chest and bashing everyone left right centre saying he knew heath is corrupt all the timezimbos_05 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 7:52 amThis is never how a board should respond. The knife drawing is a racial thing. Cmon. Zimbabweans in general are very tribalistic and racist. Heaven sent opportunity to hit the white man in this case.zimbos_05 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 7:52 amThis is never how a board should respond. This is the problem. The unprofessional board is a general Zimbabwean thing. Sad but true. The gap between us and the rest of the world is huge and getting bigger.
In terms of Streak's guilt. Sounds like he is guilty. God knows the reason. Is he that hard up financially?

I think we are shifting the blame here, from all the information available, it appears Streak was doing some corrupt stuff in Bangaladesh , ZC did not play a part in his actions.
I just don't see how you can blame ZC, we know there are incompetent at the administration of cricket, Streak made his own bed here and he should take full responsibility.

I don't think anyone is blaming ZC. What people are saying is that their response, including the response of their mates like Melhuli, Zolsky, Larry, has been deplorable and shameful.zimlover wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 9:17 amI think we are shifting the blame here, from all the information available, it appears Streak was doing some corrupt stuff in Bangaladesh , ZC did not play a part in his actions.
