Re: zimbabwe vs pakistan
That one ball he bowled in the final over must have been over 140. Looked way quicker than anything else he has bowled.

Has there even been a more shameful man than this fucking creep? 'How I transformed Zimbabwe cricket in 4 years'. Errr no, it's 'How Dave Houghton transformed Zimbabwe cricket in 4 months', you absolute charlatan.
I don't think he is even in Australia with the squad is he? I certainly haven't seen him. Maybe he'll turn up for some glory now we are doing well
He's only technical director because the board fucked up so much and gave him a massive new contract 12 months ago and can't afford to pay him off. He's literally sitting on his couch in Mumbai seeing out his contract and doing absolutely nothing because EVERYONE hates him. To claim any sort of credit is actually shameless beyond words.

The article is also full of inaccuracies - I'm not sure where they got some of it from, maybe Rajput himself? Shows how much he knows!! The players aren't paid directly by the ICC anymore - ZC has control of its finances again.
He even says 'Craig Williams and Sean Ervine' - Fuck!!!!!!!
Raza and Williams absolutely despised the guy and there was open mutiny in Ireland/Scotland last year. It is absolutely baffling that he remained in post as long as he did, but thank fuck the board FINALLY saw sense and did the right thing.
The rumour is that even Reggie very publicly fell out with him towards the end. Which is hard to believe as Reg is one of the calmest, amicable guys you'll ever meet.

And he spotted Ngarava in club cricket? Yeah right.
I don't think the board finally came to their senses. They didn't have a cheap solution and were probably waiting for the situation to become so untenable that Houghton would step in.
It's clear he's a bit of a loose cannon and they'll be treating him with kid gloves in case he opens the 200 liter drum of worms

Unless his contract was written by a grade 7 I'll guarantee he's breached it many times, which means he has copious amounts of dirt. In theory they could use his salary and employ at least 3 fine cricketers
They could also cut their salaries from 20 to 15 k and employ another 3

Re: zimbabwe vs pakistan
I think in his mind how he is looking at it is that
1- he made Ngarava a regular
2- he brought Luke Jongwe back even though his stats were not supporting the dea.
3- he brought Wes and Shumba and Marumani in.
4- he gave Kaia a chance.
All these scenarios in my opinion are just perfect timing or pure coincidences.
I don't know how he can't see that he is only around because they can't get rid of him without paying him off

What the hell did I just read! Either he is delusional or the news portal that interviewed him is, or both.

Re: zimbabwe vs pakistan
Is it preferable for Zim that India beat SA tomorrow? Then hope Pakistan beat SA. SA have a much better NR than us at moment and i dont think well will match them on a NR comparison so PAK will have to beat SA and Zim win all remaining games minus our India game.
Some other games getting rained out like an SA or India game would throw it more wide open.
Im nervous Zims game v Netherlands will be rained off. Actually weather looks mostly fine for that game as its a day game. Could be some showers late in second innings.
All our remaining games have fair weather at this stage, except perhaps the netherlands game.
