Idk how legit this is, but I saw an Afghan fixtures post on fb and they it didn’t mention any series of any kind vs ZIM. It wasn’t the official ACB page, more a fan site, but it sounds probable. Disappointing because ZIM need to play more Tests.
Afghanistan won't play, I'm sure. Ireland are coming for a LOI series only.

The most important thing for Zimbabwe is to qualify for the T20 WC, else we are looking at disaster. So i think right now their focus won't be on FTP or tests, they would first want to get this job done.

Don’t worry St Helena and Congo might still want to play us.

A few years ago people joked about one day having to play the likes of Nigeria and Rwanda, thinking it was unimaginable….

Unless Rain plays a part, I think Zimbabwe will qualify. We should not have been talking about this situation though. That itself is depressing.

Zimbabwe's tour of Sri Lanka seems to have been confirmed.

3 ODIs - 6, 8, 11 Jan
3 T20Is - 14, 16, 18 Jan

I think Zimbabwe will be the first team to play SL after their suspension.

Thats a big series for ZIM. Sri Lanka are not a side in good form having finished 9th at the world cup and missing out on the champions trophy.

So I'm assuming the Sri Lankan government has taken over the financial responsibilities and is funding everything? Or was the suspension lifted?

No, the suspension is in place but the ICC has allowed bilaterals to be continued.

There for the taking in all these shenanigans going on at the moment.

U19 WC Fixtures are out. Here are Zimbabwe's 1st Round Robin Fixtures.

v Sri Lanka - 21st Jan
v Australia - 25th Jan
v Namibia - 27th Jan

Top 3 from the group will qualify for the Super 6 Round.

There will be two Super 6 groups from which Top 2 teams will qualify for Semi Finals.

They’ll struggle to win a match. Looks like almost the whole Namibian squad are Saffa school kids from top schools.

They’ve also scrapped the plate/placement rounds sadly.
