Yeah SZ has a point. There is nothing that suggests that say a Romerio Shepherd is better than Sikandar Raza or say Tristian Stubbs is better than Raza... Sikki is easily better than these players but being a zimbabwean it doesn't help. If you ask me there are players like Bas De Leede, Mark Adair, Van Beek, Ngarava who can make an IPL team but that doesn't suit the IPL franchises policy of keeping the Aussies, English and South Africans happy!
‘Easily’ better is a big call.
These guys don’t often have the luxury of feasting on associate attacks, from the number 5 batting spot.
You say this but he’s performed to an excellent, consistent high level in all of the leagues - PSL, CPL, you name it. The fact he’s got a T20 Blast and Hundred gig coming up proves it.

Unfortunately the IPL teams would rather overpay hugely for mediocre English players or just draft random nobodies from SA, Australia and the Windies. There is little to no common sense ever displayed in the auctions by any of the teams.

He’s only getting a game today because that fat prick Livingstone is injure. Never has there been a more overrated player than him imo.

In other news Oman just flattened namibia in the latest 20/20 match.

Good for our prospective 2026 automatic Q

No boundaries. Was an ideal setup to do what Shashank did in the end but I think he’ll get at least the next game.

Abysmal strike rate that, makes Ervine look swashbuckling  adds weight to the associate basher and PSL basher tags.

Ya, he’s so overrated. Would totally be pushing Stokes in terms of criminally overrated English players.

Every single English player is overrated with the exception of Root and James Anderson. Stokes is decent.

Anderson is overrated, he’s well past his prime and should be put out to pasture a bit like Larry. Only things keeping him in the side is the chance of overtaking Warne in the test wickets log and the fact he’s Stokes’ mate.
