This part, at least, is easy...sloandog wrote:Why would you not have hot spot technology in this series ?

Hot Spot is expensive. Ultimately, this series probably isn't high profile enough to warrant it.
I thought I saw a little deviation off the replay, so I'm not that filthy over it being out. However it should have been an umpires call - I'm not sure it was conclusive enough to be overturned, which I thought was the whole point of the review system (to eliminate howlers).
Masakadza looked around straight away too, which is a bit of a telltale sign for batsmen when they get an edge.

Precisely, according to the DRS rules, it was not a candidate for overturning. And we seem to have no luck with us too.brmtaylor.com admin wrote:I thought I saw a little deviation off the replay, so I'm not that filthy over it being out. I've always wondered what would happen if a player questioned this, and asked for a second reviewCrimsonAvenger wrote:Precisely, according to the DRS rules, it was not a candidate for overturning. It must be said, Sibanda has edged a lot of 4s in this test...
