300 is a decent total for a 3 day game.

Good that madande and Bennett play that way. Very swashbuckling and they probably see these sides as beneath them.
Very foolish if they do think these sides are beneath them!
I somewhat disagree. I think Zim players have been guilty in the past of giving their opponents a bit too much respect, its why they treated Uganda like Australia. Beneath them might be the wring word, but confidence that they are so much better than that.
I dont want our guys sinking to their level and rolling in the mud by terms of low opposition.

A lot of County 2nd XI’s, in English conditions, are much better sides than the likes of Uganda, and indeed our random collection of so-called ‘under 25’ players.

I’m also going with scarred.
It was the worst keeping performance in test history.

Interesting to see that they seem to be around the same level as the county 2s. They won one game and are competing well here. Even if you look at Dane scoring 49. It’s a decent measure of Nick Welch’s ability in a way as well if you look at it that way. Maybe the first few games they were adjusting to the conditions.

Now what I don’t know is if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Anyone heard about a Zimbabwe Under 15s touring side also being in Derbyshire at the moment?
