I would like to see some people who haven't been given a real chance:
Maruma & Garwe
...or... Those who performed admirably however but lost their chance:
Blignaut, Ebrahim & Mupariwa
Also, one who seems to be genuinely chasing a second chance (though lord knows he's had enough chances):
Vusi
That aside,
i'm not sure about Meth. he was taken to the WI and given 6/7 chances there with very ordinary returns.
Haven't seen C Ervine's stats of late so can't really comment.
What I would like to know is why Rogers is in the eagles squad but never picked to play - anyone know?
Ok, in short:
Garwe
Mupariwa
Vusi/Ebrahim

Re: Pick your three to challange for national team places
Firstly, as an aside, I see that Masakadza is gaining traction with some of us as a captain. I prefer Price, but as I said I'm off topic.
For my choices, I will recogise we have an incomplete squad at the moment. We need a seamer or two, whom I can't find. We have too many good spinners for few places. Finally, our batting order has not yet been sorted. So my choices don't include a 1st XI in mind, just guys who deserve a short before things settle down in 2011. And these are
1. Mutizwa - how loud does this guy have to knock on the door?
2. Mupariwa - I think that spot at first change of bowling after after Jarvis and Rainsford is still open
3. Meth - the all-rounder in the team if Chigumbura focuses on batting.
