One thing boggles my mind. How can people categories a player as not being test quality yet are happy to see Mire opening the batting for Zim.
Probably because we don't have 11 test quality players.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Hope we make a good account of ourselves here. I don't want to log on later today and see us 119-7 with Cremer our top scorer

Tour match will be fine. Plenty of the big SA players have pulled out. ZIm is basically playing a lot of the SA Varsity guys.

Only Steyn, Bavuma and AB remain... plus a few quotas Bangladesh found tough to handle :D .

Along with Steyn, Bokako and Cohen will be tough to handle as the seam attack. von Burg will teach Cremer how to bowl proper leg spin, and du Plooy will teach Raza how to bowl proper part-time spin.

Many of you watched the Africa T20 with Lizaad Williams a quota destroying Zimbabwe(along with Ricardo whose bat ruthlessly subjected ZIM to a 10 wicket defeat in the same match). Not to worry he's destroyed better batsmen in SA. Will be interesting to see if he plays. That's the disadvantge with including Steyn. Cohen, Bokako and Williams are not even the 8th best seam attack in SA, but one of them gets to fall because of Steyn and another if Morris is deemed fit).

Zubayr Hamza will bat for the Proteas sooner rather than later. Matthew Breetzke should have maybe played this game before he rejoined the u19s.

NB: I can understand the fitness arguments in Steyn playing(even though to be honest with Rabada, Ngidi plus many others available the reality is he must be ignored now - Duanne dropped because of him!). But honestly why should AB and Bavuma even play this match???

Once it becomes dark, that pink ball behaves in terrible away, always brings english condition into the game.

Players with Colour blindness might find difficult to cope with pink ball :) :)

Mathew Wade & Chris Rogers of Australia had that problem
Robo to rule

Looks like a proper FC match for now! 11 a side - no mickey mouse batting practice stuff. But lol, we are playing with just two bowlers - Jarvis and Cremer with Chibhabha, Mire and Raza for company. That could be wrong on Cricnfo's side to be honest. I foresee this match soon losing FC status soon with all the players getting listed soon...

No it is a 13 aside game. Chibhabha and Chisoro missing out.

Ah, that was coming. May be not a bad thing as we have zero experience with so many of the playing conditions, it makes sense to expose all the potential players who can make the XI to get game time in those conditions...
