I really hope we manage to keep hold of some of these boys, although I’m not holding out much hope.
Still waiting for this apocalyptic day that googly has been predicting where we don’t produce any news talent..all of a sudden a young quick lad called Erasmus appears and then two lads who can ‘really bat’ crop up..

I still find it amazing that there are white faces appearing in Zimbabwe colours. Shows that a lot of families still have faith in their nation which is good to see.

Of course who knows if they have much faith in ZC.

I'm not sure Jarvis is much of a loss really. He was on big money and not really performing to a worldclass level. I would rate his comeback a 6/10 at best.

I’d still have Jarvis opening the bowling in both ODI and Test cricket. Even if he’s not the 140kph bowler he used to be, he’s still an excellent bowler and would be an asset to this side for some years yet. Muzarabani takes wickets consistently which is what we need, and Ngarava in my opinion has now eclipsed Mumba with both pace and swing. In fact, the latter is probably the most improved bowler in Zimbabwe having seen him against Bangladesh in 2018, where he got panned.
I think Tshuma has some potential with his strong action and then there’s a handful of young blokes coming through like Mambo and Evans. Jarvis is still the superior bowler though.

I don't understand why people are down on Jarvis, I think he is a terrific highly skilled bowler. In my opinion he is the best pacer we have had since Heath Streak.
