Re: Domestic Transfers
And what about youngsters like Calum Price, Dean Mazhawidza, Peter Moor, Roy Kaia and Kevin Kazuza? I think these guys I just mentioned are the future and an early introduction to competitive cricket will help a lot. They can start off by playing for the 2nd XIs then move up the ladder with time.

Re: Domestic Transfers
Apparently this is the Eagles' squad:
Mash Eagles Squad
1. Stuart Matsikenyeri (Cpt)
2. Foster Mutizwa
3. Regis Chakabva
4. Mark Mbofana
5. Trevor Garwe
6. Sikandar Raza
7. Tino Mutombodzi
8. Cephas Zhuwao
9. Nathan Waller
10. Tendai Shereni
11. Elton Chigumbura
12. Kyle Jarvis
13.Raymond Price
14 Simbarashe Prince Gupo
15. Innoent Chinyoka.
16. Lovemore Manatsa
No idea whether this is accurate or not, but if it is there are several arrivals and departures. No overseas players listed for the Eagles this year, so that means no Chad Keegan, Nick Compton or Andrew Hall. It also seems that Greg Lamb has left along with the others already mentioned in this thread Ryan Butterworth and Price Masvaure. Fringe players from last year like Douggie Hondo, Kudakwashe Munyede, Pete Moor, Callum Price, Ishmael Senzere, Admire Manyumwa and Maxwell Chifamba are also missing. Tendai Shereni and Lovemore Manatsa are both entirely new names to me.

Re: Domestic Transfers
Now there's a name, whatever happened to Admire Marvellous Manyumwa ?
He blew into the game with some great bowling returns, has 84 first class wickets @ 21, took 6 5fors and went to the Australian Institute of Sport in 2009
Since early 2010 he hasn't played a single first class match and ended last year with the Eagles B side
He may well have gone wrong himself but Zim cricket really can't afford to lose exciting talents like him

Re: Domestic Transfers
Not too happy about Lamb's departure. Would've been nice to have a few overseas players especially new ball bowlers to partner KJ. Why is Zuwayo in the team?? As an Eagles supporter I'm not too happy about this squad, AT ALL!!
