Yes, should be all clear. Might be a bit of moisture in air later so I’d bat first like Monday night then let the seamers go to work. Hopefully I can make it again tonight and actually see a win!secretzimbo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 9:55 pmI'm now seeing 'occasional showers' between 7pm-11pm and 'heavy rain' from around 11pm onwards. So we might be okay!

So many parallels going into this game as the UAE game. I'm not a fan

Have loved seeing (and definitely hearing!) the Zim support in the stadium in the past two games.

I live a couple of hours north of Hobart. I went on Wednesday night and sat with some expats. I was surprised how many where there and how much support there was for Zim. They’ll had a smile on their faces despite the loss!secretzimbo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 10:25 pmTerryalderman wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 10:11 pmYes, should be all clear. Second time I’ve seen them live after the ‘92 World Cup.

Unfortunately I will have to wait until 2027 to attend a Zimbabwe World Cup match! We were temporarily out of the country in 2003 due to the political stuff going on so I missed out there

I'm desperate for us to win so that I can go to a Zim game and be part of a zim crowd. Haven't had the chance since 2003.Jemisi wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 11:07 pmAwesome mate! If we finish 2nd in the group. I get to watch us play Aus at the Gabba, if 1st, it's Bangladesh at the Gabba.

Yeah it has been quite a drought for me too. 2003 in Aus and 2016 in Zim.

What if West Indies lose to Ireland and our game against Scotland get washed out.
Does that mean we are out?

The crowd noise gave me a glimpse of what castle corner would be like. Be awesome with a packed ground! Hopefully I’ll get to Zim one day. I have a Zim friend who said he’d take me, so we’ll wait and see! Maybe when flight prices come down!!secretzimbo wrote: ↑Thu Oct 20, 2022 11:05 pmLucky you!! Very jealous haha.
