Chigs to 200 wickets, somehow can't believe that, but the milestone speaks for itself.

Yes, he started off as a bowler who batted didn't he? But his bowling had times when it completely went off, including the current phase. If he is mounting another serious come back with the ball, it is going to be fun!

No one can argue that Nick Welch isnt being given a chance, one player who would have enough experience in the next under 19 World Cup

Chigs always had the happy knack of picking up wickets, but economy is the big problem -- he can only rectify that by bowling day in, day out. I think he is a long way off forming a valuable part of the national side's limited overs attack, but should be considered as a more than useful golden arm for the Test side.

It's a bit of a conundrum or a vicious circle that his batting is best suited for the shorter formats while his bowling seems to be much more effective in the longest form.

Is it to early to get a bit excited about Nick Welch?

This boy has just turned 16 and is scoring runs against some decent bowling attacks, im not even going to speculate if he is going to play for Zim or for another country/county but its clear to me we have a young Greame Hick here.

Googly how has he been playing since his debut for the Eagles?
