Franchise Round 2 - Logan Cup & Pro 50 (5th-10th November)
Re: Franchise Round 2 - Logan Cup & Pro 50 (5th-10th November)
Yah, how about it. Lets make the short block who cant hit a six to save his life open and have the big block some where safe down the order. Or perhaps he isnt good enough, if he is what better way to prove himself. Rather odd innit, what position would he be looking to play in the national team if it comes to it. I'm rather enjoying the competition we have at the moment which means no one is walking into the team unless you are Wessy or a sponsor... wait a minute we have had this conversation before how Ervine and co. never seemed to be keen on opening. Good thing Gumbie might be called up to the national team and Jayden will continue facing the music. But having Gumbie open in the domestic games would be a given because that's the position he will play in the National team. With Kaia no where in site it could mean there is a spot open definitely Curran should be in the conversation and also have Kaitano in the longer version.
CHRISTOPHER MPOFU: 'The problem was fear of failure. I used to think that when I played, if I didn't do well in one game, I would lose my place for the next one but now I've let go of that'

They should be using the old dukes ball, get used to it for that England test. Early season England can’t be that different to Salisbury Sports Club at 9am. England are notoriously bad the first test of their summer and Williams probably averages more than all their guys bar Joe Root. I’ll stick my neck out and say they’re beatable if we prepare properly.

That was a serious celebration by Welch. Needs a decent first half a season to be back in contention.
