Just been reading the posts about Wes' 100.
He's back to being a national treasure and gem and the most talented player we've ever had behind Williams and going on to break all the records. Thumbing his nose at all his critics etc etc. I just wish they'd calm down, it's not really how cricket works. Nobody is wishing Madhevere ill, everybody just keeps questioning his continued selection when he's struggling. Nobody wants him to do badly, the exact opposite in fact.
Even if he'd been bowled on 97 and not caught that ump wasn't going to give it His job was on the line.

A thoroughly deserved timeous 100 from a good player. Hope it settles a few demons. Needs a few more.
