Bowlers did well today. Impressed with Gwandu's variations in length and pace. He has a bit of Jongwe in him. Not sure he's going to blow teams away in the longer formats though

He bowled some great slower balls there.

Glad for Gwandu to get 3. I hope we chase this one down and at least avoid losing the series and hopefully win it next game. Hopefully now that it's a 20 over game the batters will remember that they have brains and eyes.

It's the ultimate test for the batters. Chasing a low total but with a slow outfield against an average attack by international standards. No mystery spinners to worry about.
In theory doesn't get easier at international level.

In an ordinary world Maru is running out of time. Needs a score in the next two games I'd think.

Out to the same old shot again. Does it get weirder?

Not good enough. This kid needs to massively improve and start learning. How many times is he going to get out like that. When there are lads scoring runs domestically, the selectors need to have a major rethink.

Madhevere has come in first ball and done the right thing, drop the ball and run. That's the difference between a player with a brain and one withiut

Jeez that was a jaffer. We're fucked again. Hasn't taken two overs.
