Ireland on course to get one over New Zealand. This could mean Ireland finishing in top 4 and Zimbabwe having to qualify, unless Zim themselves beat India, in which case Afghans play the qualifier.

It's all happening.

Zimbabwe will be 5th in the group, but will still qualify automatically because they and Ireland will both be ranked in the top 12 of the ICC rankings.

The top 12 teams are getting automatic qualification in 2024.

If Netherlands somehow magically beat SA then we are out of the qualification spots again.

But as long as SA do the business against the Dutch, then we qualify.

Not sure Kriterion, because USA take one of those spots being the hosts. So basically we are looking at Top 11, and Ireland are ranked 12th, behind Zimbabwe who are 11th.

Yes I think we need to be ranked 11th by the cut off. It looks like that will happen though unless there is a major upset on the cards

Afghanistan still in with a shout against Australia. Had it not been for 4 wickets in about 6 balls it would have been an easy win

Seeing that the MCG is sold out for tomorrow. What an opportunity it will be for our guys to get noticed. Massive game. Especially for Raza. He needs to show he isn't an associate bully. My outside bet to shine tomorrow is actually Ngarava. With the bat  and maybe a first over wicket

I was actually thinking besides Zhuwao, Raza, Burl, PJ, Marumani and maybe Maruma.. who else if they connect can hit a bigger 6 than Ngarava? Hmm

We've actually got some big strong guys, I'm not sure why big six's seems to be an issue for us.
