We’re his PR machine really. Listen to us and he’s the greatest batter and wicket keeper ever to play the game and can make Shane Warne look amateur by not only being able to turn it square but 180 degrees back on itself.

Old zubz knackers  he should be sending some dollar ZCF’s way yo.

Probable Zim lineup at the 2024 T20WC:

1 Joylord Gumbie
2 Tanunurwa Makoni
3 Antum Naqvi
4 Awad Naqvi
5 Ali Hamid
6 Sikandar Raza
7 Tashinga Makoni (still only 17 years old, miraculously)
8 Faraz Akram (C)
9 Elton Chigumbura
10 Wellington Masakadza
11 Tendai Chatara

Head Coach, National Selector and shirt sponsor: Zubair Naqvi
Head Caterer: Mrs Naqvi
Bus Driver: Grandpa Naqvi

Wait until they name one of the ends at The Money Pit Stadium in Vic Falls the Lord Naqvi End. The other one the Zolsky End

Just when you thought things were back on track or heading in the right direction in Zim cricket. Disaster awaits us on multiple fronts in the coming years, I promise you.
Is Ali Hamid the 17 year old who was in on the runs in the last u19 round of games (i think they went to India). Whats the progress on him, do we think he will stay after the U19 WC?

No. And he’s a nice guy actually. I was just thinking of all the Pakistanis I could think of at the time

You are thinking of Ronak Patel. He does look good

What’s the word on the street? Monster 9 hour net sessions ahead of the pro 50 final?

No way, he'll be way way too busy as MD of ZC, Head of Selectors, Head Coach and Head of Talent (Asian Continent & Belgian Departments) to worry about nets, as for the Pro50, I understand that the solid silver trophy is back in the workshops as his name was engraved onto it by an over enthusiastic Rhino supporting silversmith who thought it was the Man of the Match award

One thing I'd missed completely was his Zim U25 appearance against Uganda a couple of weeks back, does that mean anything at all about Zim qualification or is an U25 appearance just a throwaway thing?

Definitely just a throwaway.

Totally unregulated game. Could have picked anyone.

If Naqvi want ma to play, qualify and do the hard yards then duck it, let him. We need players that improve our team
Wes and co have done nothing
