There are no positives from losing like this. Afghanistan have some good players, but they are hardly worldbeaters. This performance from our batsmen is just pathetic. Once we fail at the Qualifiers it is time to start again, BT should be the first on the list of players to cut. He is clearly just getting a last pay day before running back to county cricket.

Ryan Burl and Waller should be nowhere near this side.
I mean seriously Jarvis batted better than both of them combined

If we keep picking the wrong guys. This is exactly what you will get. Predetermining Burl deserved to be on that plane before the Kenya series shows how incompetent Streak and Taibu are. I never thought I would say this but I want them gone. Too many inconsistencies with their selections and they play favourites.

Now we were all talking about how streak has picked his men and if he is to fall he will fall his own way. What I can guarantee you here is that we will fall.

And also please don't tell me about who else is available when you give 30 chances to failures. Give 3 failures 10 chances each and we might find hope in 1 of them.

Just explain to me how exactly they determined that Burl is better than Tari if they were both out of form?. Even if they were backing Burl(which is not the worst decision to be fair) then why drop him for the tri-series and send Murray and Mavuta who you then drop straight after. If we are trying to get guys in form then why take those 2 kids to Bangladesh? Maybe Burl could have played a couple of games in place of Ervine and he would have been in better form. Then you presumably don't take Zhuwao because you are cutting costs yet you wasted money sending 2 kids to Bangladesh. These guys are seriously taking the joy out of watching Zim cricket.

Afghanistan are a good side but not this good at all.

Now we are in trouble and you turn to a bench of 3 players.. one being a man who averages 19 in 80 or so games. The other 2 being bowlers and you seriously think these guys are taking us anywhere

We should remember that Afghanistan recently lost an ODI series to Ireland in Sharjah. Afghanistan are decent, but nothing more.
