These must be the same cameras we had during the T20WCQ in Bulawayo where Netherlands kit looked red and ours looked orangesecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 9:57 amBAC isn't great.....but the awful camera with fucked color ratios make the outfield look worse than it actually is. It's much greener than the camera shows!!

Re: Test XI - Windies series
My concerns were that the outfield seems to be quite uneven and ‘rough’ the cameras aren’t the best but it looks like the ball is bumping around out theresecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 9:57 amBAC isn't great.....but the awful camera with fucked color ratios make the outfield look worse than it actually is. Zimbabwe must have the least offical international grounds of any of the top 20 ICC members I reckon

Yeah it's not great at all. They'd have been better off using Kwekwe, which is pretty good. They'll need 4 grounds for the qualifier again, they'll be hoping the ICC spend a load of money fixing them up again like last time.jaybro wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 10:11 amMy concerns were that the outfield seems to be quite uneven and ‘rough’ the cameras aren’t the best but it looks like the ball is bumping around out theresecretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 9:57 amBAC isn't great.....but the awful camera with fucked color ratios make the outfield look worse than it actually is. Re: Test XI - Windies series
Everyone on twitter has decided that Burl is unavailable for the series (along with Raza, Williams, Blessing).
But would ZC have put Burl's face on a big billboard advertising the series outside QSC if that was the case? It seems unlikely.

Wish the Windies would just declare now, thought they would when they hit 400 and after Da silva hit is ton. Seems like they are just going bat till they are out.

Maunze out second ball. I thought he was a shoe-in to open in the first test if he had done okay today.

Makes a massive difference when you face real pace though, had a feeling he would struggle. I think most will against that sort of pace because they don’t see it.secretzimbo wrote: ↑Sun Jan 29, 2023 12:00 pmMaunze out second ball. Bit confused as to why Gumbie didn’t open with Maunze at 3.
Gumbie has been batting well whilst opening. He doesn’t have Compton for company though this time taking all the pressure off.
An interesting test for him to see if he has a future for the national side.
