Perfect opportunity for Waller. We need him to stand up right now.

We're throwing it away. There's a good chance we won't even post a lead at all now.
Time for Waller to really prove his value as a Test player. He's been quite fortunate (I believe) to have played quite a few Tests without playing an innings of real substance. Is today the day?

The odd delivery from the seamers is now staying low. This will be tricky to bat on last. Good delivery to get Hammy out, but he pushes at it a tiny bit, has quite hard hands. He was looking so good as well. Hammy’s cover drives are as good as you’ll see, stunning. The top players of spin might have played inside the line on that delivery. That was real disappointment from him, he wanted that badly, felt for him there. Williams just was out of sorts, very strange innings. If they’ve done their homework on Waller, he’ll get some short stuff.
Some soft dismissals from Mire, Williams, Raza and BT, they’ve all got themselves out.

this has gone a bit pear shaped

he is tactical trollng.Conant wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 11:02 amGosh that was poor from Williams.
Really hopped he could prove hhm wrong (Where is he by the way, after such a good session yesterday?), but was never confident myself.
Clearly mentally he is not strong, although of the whole lot maybe only Raza passes that test, and he is walking in now...
Some of his big trollpoints (Cremer/Jarvis etc) went against him so he is waiting till people forget or something happens to back up his view.
He will be back if zim capitulate with 'i told you so' but he will direct it at williams.
I like him but hes lost the subtlety of the troll art.

You are right there is no reason why he has gone inexplicably quiet on Zimbabwe's most anticipated day in years.ZIMDOGGY wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 11:38 amhe is tactical trollng.Conant wrote: ↑Sun Oct 22, 2017 11:02 amGosh that was poor from Williams.

Three balls in and Chakabva is looking better than all the other batsmen before him bar Masakadza.
Lets see how long it last.
