I think the real question will be are we looking for immediate success or are we trying to build a team for a decade. Its going to be interesting to see what happens because I have to be honest, a couple of those guys are real prospects but I'm not so sure they will immediately deliver. Then you also have the finished products who might cost a lot of money.

I doubt it. There's been many opportunities for them to get millions if they changed, but they always pass it up because they can't let go of power.

ZC seem to just want instant success. They don't understand what building for the future is. As soon as they get some success too, they demand exceptional, but fail to understand that Zim is so far behind that we need a full rebuilding project as well as aiming for sustained progressing success on the field.

Two Jos Buttler's and a Johnny Bairstow would not guarantee success. It would stem the bleeding though :lol:

in my opinion, the returning players will be;
Welch
Ballance
Melton.

I have no guarantees on either but I have seen strong, concrete clues, coupled with logic, that these players will end up in a Zim shirt.

Of course if he becomes a hotshot County cricketer in demand with money thrown at him he will stay, but anything less he will be back.
All things being equal Nick would rather be in Zimbabwe.
He isn’t in the ‘Zimbabweans using cricket to get out of the country’ boat at all.
