In the Rainbow game the bowler bowls a one and a half meter wide and umpire doesn't signal wide
They need a run a ball and both batsman revert to attempting switch hit six's, eventually no 11 comes in and blocks it out for a well instructed loss. Beautifully orchestrated.

Under instruction, bud. Don't fuck around when you're ordered to throw a game.

A shame if that was the case. Gladiators coach and manager are some of the best people in the game.

Same can’t be said of Taka management though

Well it's either that or absolutely zero cricketing brain. Less than zero.
That umpire in that Rainbow game shouldn't be allowed to umpire again. Beyond embarrassing.

That Gladiators vs Shinga match was very dodgy throughout. Lots of controversy throughout especially the first innings:

Munyonga opening bowling
2 spinners to start against Zhuwao
Munyonga bowling a 3rd after getting smacked about
Zhuwao being caught but given not out
Questionable fielding
Munyonga's high full toss no balls
Umpires given strange wides
Naqvi run out which wasnt

To me Munyonga and the gladiator coaching setup needs to be investigated after this game. It makes it worse that Naqvi was involved in the game which poses further concerns because of known financial controversy.

I saw the scorecard and was expecting to see a Zhuwao epic but I was heavily disappointed by the events of the match, ruined a decent comp. I could be completely wrong but in my opinion this game was not played in the spirit of the game.

They’ve been doing it for twenty years.

Except now with the App and with live streaming it’s just more obvious.

Nothing will happen. Our director of cricket literally plays for them and our managing director is their president

Yeah looked very suspicious. I must say I have seen Cephas get in only once and it was a bowlers worst nightmare. Absolutely terrifying. Usually he gives a chance every 7 or 8 deliveries off quality bowling. Munyonga was awful.

I even checked to see if you could bet on the NPL. Didn't find anything but I will check again.
