So you need 9 batsman but not two spinners?
How many do you want ? Wellington, Williams , Raza, Burl , Madhevere is enough
Just one leg spinner thanks,

Burl can’t be trusted as the sole leggie, his control has been off ever since the Ireland tour.

Having Mavuta would have given us the option of a front line leg spinner, the guys you have mentioned are part timers or all rounders at best.

I agree with Jay that Mavuta should have been in.

Probably would have had him instead of Jongwe though.
No I would have kept Jongwe, his bowling is good and adds something different. I would have left Maru out, he’s had enough chances for now.

Probably do need 2 bats as reserve considering how often our lot get injured, and/or out of form.

Yeah you need the reserve batters to cover for injury but also form.

A few of the players are lucky to have made the squad (Madhevere, Marumani, Jongwe, and perhaps even Evans).

In fact only Williams, Raza, Madande, and Blessing are coming in with form.

What? I’d say Ervine is coming in pretty hot

I swear you just throw things out there to get bites these days, some of stuff is way off the mark, more than usual.

Taking Marumani as a reserve batter is very scary he has had no form whatsoever. Definitely a shadow of the guy who was taking everyone apart on the domestic front. Perhaps if we take away the responsibility of opening and have him come in lower down the order. But beyond him who do we really have waiting in the wings? On the Mavuta question I dont doubt that he would have been one of our travelling reserves if we were traveling that is. His leggies might be required in later stages of the tournament especially on the used pitches. So he might come in as a injury replacement at some point, not that I wishing for someone to get injured that is.
