That's absolutely true - there was a lot of bad blood and of course everything was pretty shit at the time. But the fact was, at the same time he underperformed for several seasons in domestic cricket and simply didn't do enough to make it impossible for them to ignore him.

Who hasn't fallen out with ZC? Most of our current best players have, big time. But at the end of the day they are too good to ignore and now they are reaping the benefits of being in a really good, much improved environment.

I feel sad for him that it isn't working out with Ireland, but he made his choice to depart.

Ya I agree with all that. I just hate seeing a good cricketers career go down the shitter. Plus he's a really good guy.
