Haven't bought the subscription to watch the game so I'm going off the scoreboard, Milton is getting comfy which is great. Kaitano is shaky af from what I read, but hey, he's still here and hopefully he can just grind through the difficult phase and get going.
youtube?
Ah no, I'm from India so a company called Fancode broadcasts it. It's dirt cheap but I decided not to buy it cause I've got exams coming up next week so, no distractions needed haha

Not to bring doom but Kaitano not looking confident. Walking wicket.
How does a guy in his late twenties averaging 22 in a poor Zim domestic cricket setup, get a test cap?? Are there any standards at all?
Thats his average?
We are fucked.
Its one thing to debate how guys who dominate the do,estic scene like maruma cant step up.

But we are now at the stage we are hopng guys who fail domestically step up?

poor kids probably nervous as hell.
If he was in sydney he would be a third grader, who doesnt get paid but only get fees discounted or something.
Guys ffs, can you guys just shut up and stop judging him on his domestic average? Give the lad a chance and see how he fares in this match. Remember Musakanda's domestic average was awful when he debuted, just that he made some notable runs prior to his call-up to the national side.

Fair enough and I hope you are right!. But Musakanda isn't a great example. Just been dropped after a very very poor run of form. His Logan Cup average of 30 has led to a Test average of 14.......

Ok Don Mark (yes i know),
Musakanda was a kid on the up, not a 29 yr old.
we have seen him this match, he isnt up to it.
if he does the amazing and knicks his way to a 50, he will tune out as soon as he gets that 'zimbabwean century' and be out within ten balls later.
I never commented on him before now, but those stats with how he is playing is damning.

Hi if you download a VPN from playstore then you can watch it for free from India. I am watching the match on Youtube by turning on my VPN on Rabbitholehd sports.

Mate you do not know me ok? And I have played cricket and watched the game on TV for more than 20 years and you think i do not know a bit about the nuances of the game? His technique is decent and may even be better, there are nerves and butterflies in your stomach when you are rookie at the highest level. Some players are made for performing at the big stage, remember when Michael Hussey made his debut, bear in mind I am not drawing any comparison between Kaitano and Hussey, Hussey definitely was in another league and he was an absolute match winner.
