Uae looks really poor this time. The way they have been beaten by Westindies B team game after game i wasn't expecting this .Even Dutch will struggle without their main players . Scotland still looks decent threat though

Just flown into and therefore drove through Harare and there was some sort of cricket parade thing we passed  Don't know what was happening but either way the atmosphere at these qualifiers is going to be off the charts, especially if we win a couple of matches early on.

It also feels like the support currently is far more positive and supportive rather than anxious and high pressurised like last time. It should give us a real boost and I think probably gives us the edge over someone like Ireland overall playing in these home conditions.

Pretty much my thoughts too. You've nailed it when you say last time there was anxiety and pressure, this time the entire feeling is different, lots of positivity and failure to go through wouldn't mean it's the end of the world.

The Asia Cup issues seem to be resolved, with sanity prevailing. Everyone’s a winner. Pakistan will host 4-5 games, India will play in Sri Lanka, and the World Cul should proceed without a hitch.

Perhaps this was a cause of the ICC not releasing the WC schedule yet.

It was all just loose talk from Sethi w.r.t boycotting the WC. Anyways I'm happy that Pakistan are playing, they bring a lot to the tournament, their flamboyance and mercurial form really sets the tournament alight. They are a kind of team that fits into the saying "love them or hate them but you cannot ignore them"

I'm really looking forward to all the tournaments. The WCQ, Asia Cup, World Cup should all be great fun!

Shame about the World Cup format though. The 2019 final being as epic as it was has meant everyone has forgotten how utterly boring and prolonged and shit the rest of the tournament was.

The qualifiers will undoubtedly be a more thrilling tournament than the main World Cup again!

Yeah it will be.

Coming to the first game against Nepal I think we need to be careful here, they are no pushovers. I'm majorly concerned about Lamichanne... Can't take him easy. Zim need to see through his overs without giving him wickets, it doesn't matter if he goes economical. Don't lose wickets to Lamichanne and Nepal are almost done.

Nepal lost to both Scotland and second string Netherlands two days ago in Southafrica . HSC should assist tall fast bowlers of zimbabwe . Zimbabwe definitely has an upper hand in this game

I hope so mate but not taking anything for granted. Every game they need to think is a must win.
