A little bit of fight from Burl and Mamhiyo and then back to normal ........
I just don't understand the thinking of some batsmen, Burl is the man set, he's joined by number 9 Mufudza, so what does he do, takes a single off the first ball and gives Mufudza the strike, result ?, another wicket lost, when are these batsmen going to take some responsibility
Vitori gone now, never mind, 99-9 and only needing 154 @ 9.52, piece of cake ...

I'm runnning out of headdesk.gif images that appropriately convey the pain of supporting Zimbabwe...
Re: [Series Thread] Zimbabwe A v Bangladesh A in Zimbabwe
Pretty discouraging result. There do seem to be a few useful bowlers around, but it seems as if there may simply be no batting talent whatsoever.

So, that was a close finish ............... any chance of picking some batsmen for the next match and maybe a specialist spinner or two ?

Great effort from Burl. Hope he can continue with the good effort. Usually one for the future. Not much else to talk about really.

Yeah, he and Vusi would undoubtedly strengthen that lineup.tawac wrote:Train Driver wrote:So, that was a close finish ............... any chance of picking some batsmen for the next match and maybe a specialist spinner or two ?

Lets just be honest, what were you guys expecting when the entire FC terrain is devoid of any serious coaches! These guys simply went out there to try their luck. It baffles me that guys like Blignaut, Ewing, Brent,Nkala... are not part of the system to pass on skills learned over the course of their career. That was an investment that is now going to waste.Pretty discouraging result. There do seem to be a few useful bowlers around, but it seems as if there may simply be no batting talent whatsoever.

Bottom Line: You reap what you sow.

Match number 2 seems to have caused an awful lot of excitement on here
An unchanged side, why?, have won the toss and elected to field, Bangladesh currently 66-1 after 15 overs
