Re: [Match Thread] Afghanistan v Zimbabwe: 2nd ODI
Decent outing with the bat, after god knows how many matches...
Good stuff by Moor and there is something that clicks when Hamilton Masakadza and Craig Ervine bat together. They have added a massive 372 runs in the 5 times they have batted together, with an average of 74.40. No unbroken partnerships there, mind you.
We must win this decently, given that Cremer is back, but I can't imagine that our bowling is being led by Muzarabani of all people! Why not Tiripano, please?

And not sure how to get any respect for Hondo anymore. ZC is anyway shameless, but to be present here, on Hondo's part, is ridiculous. And he is overseeing a pace "battery" led by Muzarabani. If Waller can get games on the back of his T20 heroics, why not Madziva? If we can open the bowling with Jongwe, we certainly can open with Jongwe and Madziva. I mean, we are such a disaster...

Muzarabani isn't going to scare an antartic invitation Side let alone Afghanistan
I kinda like Jongwe. he could be a good foil to someone fast at the other end but he doesn't have that luxury
Whats wrong with the lads in domestic set up. Vitori/Tirapano/Mumba/Musoko- THE LATTER TWO PLEASE GROOM THEM WITH PROPER MENTORSHIP THEY COULD BE GOOD

Love watching this Noor Ali bat; tekkers
Re: [Match Thread] Afghanistan v Zimbabwe: 2nd ODI
Waller has to bat up the order. Moor is here to stay.
Neil Johnson, Alistair Campbell, Murray Goodwin, Andy Flower (w), Grant Flower, Dave Houghton, Guy Whittall, Heath Streak (c), Andy Blignaut, Ray Price, Eddo Brandes

Agreed..chigs needs to give up his obsession of batting at 4/5...otherwise neither batsman waller or elton are gonna bring in value

does Shehzad still look like a hack? No idea how he averages over 30 even if he's played mostly against associates.

I'm wondering why Usman keeps being left out (didn't play at the WC or in the series in ZIM). Hit a hundred at age 17 vs ZIM back in 2014...surely he's better than the old fart Mangal?CrimsonAvenger wrote:And not sure how to get any respect for Hondo anymore.
