Do you remember when Afghanistan humiliated Bangladesh at the 2014 Asia Cup? AFG posted 254-6 after being 100-5 from 30 overs. Then had us reeling. Ended up bowling us out for 220 odd but dropped 5-6 absolute SITTERS. When asked about it after the match, the Afghan captain chuckled and said they wanted to give Bangladesh a chance. I thought that was awesome...most BD fans were furious at the 'arrogance'. Had those catches been taken, BD would have lost by 70-100 runs. Beautiful example of a game that was not at all close, but the final margin of 30 runs made it look so.CrimsonAvenger wrote:Picking Chisoro over Wellington was questionable already. It is looking disastrous. I have no idea why the Afghans did not play Ghani all these days. The guy looks class.

Didn't watch the game but read CI...Only 4 balla left in the game at that stage with 16 needed. zadran staying on helped as he conceded a 6 and 4. If another bowler came in, there is no guarantee 16 would have been scored off the last 4.Dr_Situ(ZimFanatic) wrote:CHEATERS! Umpire allowed Zadran after 2 high full tosses and then didn't call the ball wide.

I think it starting at 3am AEST stopped a lot of the usual contributors from Australia contributing as they usually would.zimbofan88 wrote:Only 29 replies to this post? It looks like everybody has started losing interest/hope in our team

I didn't watch the game, but looking the scores and the commentary makes me wonder what's wrong with Malcolm and how to fix it. In ODIs he is walking to the wicket all nervousness, with the look of a doomed man, almost expecting a failure. And it doesn't matter whether he has time to build an innings or not. Nothing seems to be working for him, but change the format and bam! he whacks'em all over the place, free from all inhibitions.

I can honestly say I am furious that I didn't see this. I had to vent to my dodgy leb mateAngusBeef wrote:Is Sportsbet Drunk??

Have money on PJ, ridiculously good odds for him
I genuinely would have unloaded on moor and Waller
I did check an hour beforehand but only the win/loss market was up
