This last wicket is killing us .....

Anyone else think on a slow surface with our spinners we should have batted first ??

Ives seemed better than useless last match .....

Nicely done by the spinners again, annoying that we couldn't get that last wicket.

Googly was right about Murray behind the stumps, very tidy glove work.

Some seriously bad bowling changes there. For me the two guys to have bowled in tandem were Ives and Mavuta, we'll never know, but that's what I believe. Spinners should have tossed one ball an over a bit wider, the Batsmen were prone to moving straight down the wicket before release.
Again Matigimu too much variation and Ngarava had way too much to say for the pile of shit he bowled.
Too many dropped catches, all but two were tough though, we could have got these guys for under 200 easily, there are going to be some sleepless nights after this because it's a bridge too far with our batting line up, but it's cricket and miracles do happen.

I must say an 18 year old bowling 135kph without a long runup is a gift for us. The inconsistencies can be fixed. to think only Chatara before his injury and Vitori who is still inconsistent are quicker than him in the national setup shows why we should nurture Matigimu. The spinners look good too but speed merchants are what we really need at senior level

This Joseph is a handful, what an action!! 140 plus. We need to see him off. Snyder can't help having a dash just outside off, it's a compulsion. Calm down son. He's now getting across more which is good.
Who wears a watch in a cricket game? Does the guy have to be somewhere?

Many of us doth protest a bit much, I say.

Zimbabwe would have taken 220 to chase on any given day against the West Indies, I would think. Yes, 190 would have been better but 225 will suffice. The spinners did a commendable job, I don't know how much better they could have done whatever the combination wethink would have been more suitable.

Its something to think about going forward no doubt; and one hope the fielding, specifically the catching will improve; however I love the athleticism shown by skipper Brendan Mavuta.

I do know Googly moaned about captaincy having been changed from Murray but so far Mavuta doesn't look like a bad bet.
