the first half of 49th n 50th over were costly. Good last two balls by Mpofu. So the target is 286. Raina wanted 270 on this 300 plus pitch. Onus is now on our batters. Who's going to open with Hami- Chappie or Taylor?

Two superb sixes and a four by Taylor. Great stuff. 69 runs in first 10 overs. Great going

100 up. 186 more needed of 33.1 overs. Running between wickets more skeptical now. lamb just scooped one over keeper. Thankfully landed safely.
well deserved 50 for Taylor. He also kept well today. Good innings fighter, hope this silences his critics.
India used 5 bowlers till now. All going for 5plus runs and that included 3 inept debutants and jadeja-mishra.

Ervine should have been promoted. Lamb is unnecessarily putting pressure on Taylor. Some of his shots are really irritating. The debutant should have been given advantage of a good batting platform to ease down his nerves (we saw earlier today the horrible debut of skipper as a bowler. He was too nervy).

Lamb out finally albeit to a controversial decision. I am sorry but as so many views on cricinfo and commentary as well i was not impressed with his batting stint.
welcome Craig to the world of cricket.
At least he took just two balls to open his account.

when Masakadza was out CRR was 6.10 and RRR 5.70.
After Lamb's cameo, CRR dropped to 5.13 and NRR shot to 6.64

Probably lessons are learned for SL match. We have enough firepower to overhaul 286

C'mon Zim

Wunderground Weather sticker

I'm currently on holiday and have no chance of following this one, so it's up to you guys to keep me up-to-date. :) With India fielding a weakened side for the series, hopefully we'll be in a with a chance of a win here, although our record in Bulawayo in recent years has not been good...
Keep the champagne ready mate
