Yep, superb innings by Mutizwa. It was a very high pressure situation when he came in and he looked composed. There were a few false shots but overall he didn't really look like getting out; it was only when he started throwing the bat at everything that he actually did.

It was a very determined innings and despite the match situation it was a good partnership to watch.

:4: to Chigumbura.

Now for Elton to prove himself as a big hitter . He should actually earn the big hitter tag now .
10 per over from now on will get us to 250

Well played by Mutizwa think he is going to be challanging Ervine for a test spot in a couple of weeks.

Taylor showing that he is the man to captain Zimbabwe as it does not affect his form. Hopefully we can get to 230ish which may be competitive but only as long we get a couple of early wickets.

What a fight back, and for all the Mutizwa doubters...eat that, I have said for a long time, he has made the most of his opportunities and the Pakistan series was the only relative failure he had (you can read this off his average of above 35). I wouldn't say he has nailed the number six outright (Ervine and Waller are in it too), but his laid down the gauntlet. Now set for Chigs to prove himself, and shut us up...

One good 20/20 innings does not maketh the batsman, Chigs out again. having serious reservations about him at the moment..No ODI 50's since march 2010.....

Fantastic century by Taylor; his 5th ODI century overall, and that moves him beyond Andy Flower and Neil Johnson for number of ODI centuries by a Zimbabwean. A superb innings thanks to a wonderful partnership with Mutizwa.

Who said captaincy was affecting Taylor's batting? ....that's his 2nd ODI hundred to go with a Test one! If that's the effect, long should his captaincy be! Well done skipper! Now lets push it to 230/250 and we have something to hope for...
